Head Coach

Coach Tarrant is a native of Detroit, Michigan. “Coach T” as many of his players have called him, Coach T.

Coach Tarrant has coached football on many levels for over 25 years. His coaching experience ranges from high school to semi-pro teams. He spent four seasons with the MIAA Division II Lincoln University football team. At Lincoln, he split his coaching time between the linebackers and the running backs, during his four year run there.

Coach T has also been instrumental in starting and organizing two successful high school football programs in the state of Michigan. From 2009 until 2012, he led the Westside Christian Academy Warriors with an overall record of 27-7. His first year at Westside, his team finished the season with a record of 12-0 and claimed the title of National Athletic Christian Association High School Football Division II National Champions!

In four years, Coach Tarrant has been able to send 51 out of 58 student/athletes on to further their education by means of football scholarships across the United States. From 2013-16 Coach T Coached at one of the nation’s best Post Grad, Georgia Prep! Were he was instrumental in putting over 150 young men in colleges and universities throughout the US in just 3 years. Coach Tarrant will return as Head Coach of the top post grad program in the southeast of the US in 2019.

In 2011-2012, Coach Tarrant was voted the National Christian Schools Athletic Association High School Head Football Coach of the Year. Coach T feels his greatest accomplishment is being a loving husband to Rhonda, a loving father of six sons and four daughters and grandfather of four.
